Zim shipping announced increase in its two Mediterranean routes - Turkey route of Israel (TIX) and Turkey Airlines (TGX) Greek port berthing.
TIX routes, will increase by Aliaga (Turkey), Iskenderun (Turkey) and Ashe Dodd (Israel); and the TGX route will increase by Damietta (Egypt), the new arrangements will come into effect on November 28th.
TIX route from three average capacity of 2800 TEU ships operating in Xingang, the order: Piraeus - Istanbul - to - Aliaga, Izmit Gemlik Piraeus - Mersin - Ashe Dodd, Iskenderun - Haifa - Piraeus.
TGX route by two 1600 TEU vessels operating in Xingang are: Haifa - Antalya - Mersin - Piraeus - Thessaloniki - Izmir - Haifa - damietta.
Zim shipping said the purpose is to cope with the increasing port berthing of reefer container transport demand in the region.
